Whether you are inspecting power lines, cell towers or wind turbines, it enables you to get a detailed look at structures, wires, modules and components to detect damage. With the Z30’s incredible zoom capabilities you can avoid any potential electro-magnetic or RF intereference associated with utilities and communications infrastructure. This camera can only be used on the M100, M600 and M200 series airframes and is not compatible with the Inspire 1 or Inspire 2.
Aerial platforms are rapidly becoming vital tools for businesses looking to more efficiently collect information crucial to their operations. The Zenmuse Z30 is the first integrated aerial camera with up to 30x optical zoom and digital zoom up to 6x. This camera and gimbal system offers unparalleled image data capture. Enterprise users of DJI products are now able to capture the information they require from a greater range making image data collection significantly faster. Also, the Zenmuse Z30 significantly reduces risk of harm to both personnel and equipment.
The Zenmuse Z30 is the most powerful integrated aerial zoom camera on the market with 30x optical and 6x digital zoom for a total magnification up to 180x. Whether you are inspecting cell towers or wind turbines, it enables you to get a detailed look at structures, wires, modules and components for the purpose of detecting defects and damage. As a result of allowing detailed inspections from a distance without the need to fly close to the subject, not only is speed and efficiency of your operations increased, but the risk of collision is all but eliminated.
A high-powered zoom means that any movement in the system is magnified, so stability is of utmost importance. The Zenmuse Z30 incorporates DJI’s leading gimbal technology for stabilization within 0.01°, and the same precision for controls. This enables long-range inspection with high reliability.
With TapZoom, precise collection of visual data is as easy as tapping your finger to point the camera at the subject of your inspection. The Zenmuse Z30 automatically adjusts its focal length to give you an enlarged view, making the most miniscule of details visible in just seconds.

CELL TOWER INSPECTION
Cell tower inspections are safer and quicker with the Zenmuse Z30. Inspecting from a distance eliminates the need for dangerous manual inspection. Because of this, you will no longer need to worry about crashing into assets. Stream your footage to a central hub to reduce boots on the ground and ensure that you don’t need any extra trips.
Forget about hoisting up to inspect cell towers. Instead, allow an aerial platform equipped with the Zenmuse Z30. Now you will be able to conduct inspections from afar in a quick and efficient manner.
The Zenmuse Z30 gives the ability to livestream findings to engineers anywhere. Live communication makes it possible for engineers and pilots to work together. Then they can identify concerns and conduct a quick inspection.
The extended range of the Zenmuse Z30 adds many safety benefits. Since it is able to operate beyond the threat range of cell towers’ electromagnetic fields high flight safety is ensured.
DJI Go’s Intelligent Flight Modes makes setting up your system easy. You can use Point of Interest to have your system circle a cell tower at a constant radius. You can do this while keeping it locked in the frame. With this set, you can focus on directing the camera and controlling zoom. This makes image data capture and performing inspections simple
WIND TURBINE INSPECTION
Detect fine damages from afar while avoiding damage to personnel and equipment. To do this, set up your system to circle your object of inspection with Point of Interest. This set up gives a full 360° view of your turbine.
Performing turbine inspections can be a challenge. Millimeter-sized damage can threaten the propellers performance. You need to get close to the structure to see that damage. Getting close to the turbine to make out small details poses risk of crashing and damage. Additionally, regular wide angle cameras can require you to get as close as one meter from the turbine.
By using the Z30 Camera, you are able to keep the distance from the turbine and still inspect with detail. Sometimes gusts of wind affect the aircraft‘s navigation. Inspecting from a distance gives pilots a larger margin of error.
With advanced tracking features, piloting has never been easier. Using these features, the turbine remains centered in the frame. With that under control, it is easy to navigate and operate the camera at the same time. You can use Point of Interest to have your system circle a turbine at a constant radius. You will be able to continue seeing it in your live HD view.
First responders can now get a quick overview of a scene. They can use the 30x zoom for accurate and specific intelligence to base their operations on.
Firefighters depend on having accurate information to base their operations on. Rescue teams are able to speed up operations and the quality of data collected when using an airframe equipped with the Z30.
At its standard focal length, the Z30’s provides an overview of a scene. If rescuers need a more detailed view, TapZoom is the perfect tool. TapZoom lets operators zoom on the area of interest in an instant. As a result of the Z30’s powerful 30x optical zoom, operators are able to pick out details quickly. Finding details that fast improves speed and fidelity of data collection.
High-powered zoom magnifies all movement in the system, making stability of utmost importance. The Z30 incorporates leading technology for stabilization within 0.01°. It provides the same provision for the controls. This enables long-range inspection that is top notch quality.
Adapting the Z30 to your Matrice-based aerial system is easy. Slide the camera in the mount and you’re ready to go.
The Zenmuse Z30 works with DJI Lightbridge 2 which breaks technical limits and increases range up to 3.1 miles (5km).
An upgraded flagship drone platform, the Matrice 350 RTK sets a new benchmark for the industry. This next-generation drone platform features an all-new video transmission system and control experience, a more efficient battery system, and more comprehensive safety features, as well as robust payload and expansion capabilities. It is fully powered to inject innovative strength into any aerial operation.
Laser Falcon is sensitive only to methane, so no false readings of other gases are possible. It is a class 3R eye-safe laser.
The concept is based on Infrared Absorption Spectroscopy. The laser emits light (spectral range of 1,65 μm), which reflects back and is captured by the sensor. The outgoing and incoming signals are compared with the built-in reference cell. If methane is present along the laser path, the laser light is partially absorbed. An algorithm calculates the gas concentration in ppm×m (parts per million multiplied by meter). The value is instantly transferred to the remote control (RC) of the drone pilot and to UgCS software.
