When electric high-voltage equipment is electrically discharged, corona, flashover or arc. In the air, the peak wavelength of corona discharge is about 200nm ~ 400nm. In the “sunblind” ultraviolet band (240nm ~ 280nm), the intensity of the corona discharge is much weaker, but the background radiation of the sun at the surface is zero at this time. Therefore, we choose to detect corona discharge in the “sunblind zone” to achieve the most ideal detection effect.

The principle of ultraviolet powerline inspection leakage detection is to collect the ultraviolet signal generated when the high-voltage equipment is discharged, processed by the fusion algorithm, superimposed with the visible light image, and output to the display screen to accurately locate the position and intensity of the corona.
